Buy your own music portrait from Cuba.

Here is an opportunity to get your own painting from the artist Martin Ehrling’s journalistic travels to the birthplace of the rumba tradition, the Matanzas region and Havanna, in Cuba. The music portraits have been produced over three years of extended visits, with the intention of documenting and presenting the most important musicians in the tradition of Afro-Cuban music.

The musicians and dancers are captured directly with inc pencil in the sketchbook, in their home environments, in street scenes, at rehersals, ceremonies and concert performances.
